What Happens During Invisalign Treatment?

And then these images are sent to Invisalign laboratories where they customize clear aligners by a 3D printer. Because teeth tend to move and return to their initial shape before the treatment begins, patients have to wear their aligners at least 22 hours a day. They can remove their trays while they are eating or drinking something. The trays must be cleaned properly to prevent discoloration and odor.

Invisalign is not a painful treatment but the first time the trays are in their mouth, patients can feel discomfort and soreness. This is a temporary situation. Can You Eat Or Drink Without Taking Out Your Invisalign?
Eating with aligners is not recommended because the structure of the material is not designed to withstand the pressures of chewing. Drinking also is harmful to the Invisalign because hot liquids can damage the trays while drinks as coffee, tea, or wine can stain them. So, you need to take your aligners out before eating or drinking something and brush your teeth before wearing them again.

Invisalign express treatment corrects minor issues and the process of the treatment is shorter than Invisalign. Invisalign treatment uses 20-30 aligners during the treatment whereas Invisalign express requires only 10 or less.
