Dr. Onur Erol, completed his high school education at Istanbul Saint Joseph High School. He graduated from medical school in 1965. He specialized in General Surgery at Hacettepe University. He started his Plastic Surgery specialization in 1969 and completed his education in 1971. He became Associate Professor in 1974. In 1976, he won a scholarship from TUBITAK and went to America. He returned to Turkey in 1980 and received the title of Professor.
